Long time no post

Back into the swing of things. The kids are back in school. Amber started her new teaching job, and I went back to work at the daycare. Noah is loving being back. He is such a social bug. Scott and I are helping with Awanas at our church. Noah is even going. Wednesday was the first night and he did great. He is completely potty trained. I really am so proud of him. He really is coming along. I hate that I do worry that things are going so good for him that the other shoe is going to drop. I need to stay focused and just realize how blessed we are that he is a reasonably healthy little boy. It does amaze me how he can be so "typical" in some areas and then, well you know what I mean, in other areas. Lexi is in 9th grade this year. It dawned on me that I only have 4 more years with her before she spreads her wings. I sometimes worry that I don't give her enough time. The truth is she is my rock. She is just such a good kid and so easy. I have raised one "squeeky wheel", Amber. I am raising another one, Grace. And a child with special needs. It is nice to have an easy one in the mix. I just need to make sure to do things for her to make her feel important. Grace is in 4th. Where does the time go? She was 3 when we got married. She had a rough adjustment from the summer at her moms, but seems to be easing back into a routine and a household with rules and boundaries. Amber is working and she just started dating someone who has a child. He seems very nice, I just hope she takes her time. His daughter is Noah's age. How weird. I know I am defintely not ready to be called grandma.:) Oh yeah. We are not moving. Scott didn't get the promotion. I really prayed about it and we both feel this is best for our family. It has opened the companies eyes to his potential so they are sending him to more training as to further him with the company in the future. That is pretty much it for now. Hopefully I won't take so long to update next time.:)
